- The Junior Grand Prix dates and locations for 2025/26 season have been announced in ISU Communication no. 2671 (Oct. 1).
- Johnny Weir is going to be a judge on the new roller skating competition show “Roller Jam” which will air on MAX and the Magnolia TV network.
- Canadian Olympic ice dancer Mitchell Islam and his late wife and partner Alexandra Paul were inducted into the Barrie Sports Hall of Fame.
- Skate Austria announced the new pairs team of former Team USA singles skater Gabriella Izzo and Luc Maierhofer.
- Kaiya Ruiter has relocated from Calgary and is now training with Brian Orser and Tracy Wilson at the Cricket Club in Toronto.
- Tickets for the Grand Prix Final to take place in Grenoble, France are now available.
- Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2024 Induction, which will include Patrick Chan, will be livestreamed on October 23.
- The team behind the well-attended 2024 European Championships in Kaunas, Lithuania are organizing the “Stichijos” ice show on January 9, 2025 in Kaunas.
