- American ice dancer Allison Reed has been granted Lithuanian citizenship for her merits to Lithuania by the President of Lithuania himself.

- Golden Spin of Zagreb entries have been published; Jason Brown and Isabelle Martins/Ryan Bedard have withdrawn from Golden Spin.

- The Bryant Park Tree Lighting in New York City will be held on December 3 and will feature performances by Mirai Nagasu, Ashley Cain, Kaitlin Hawayek and Jean-Luc Baker, Ryan Bradley, Ice Theatre of New York, Figure Skating in Harlem, and The Skyliners.
- VIP passes are available for purchase for a guaranteed spot.
- The event will also be livestreamed on the Bryant Park website.
